MaestroSoft, Inc. announced today that it has released for
general use "qCheck," a revolutionary payment processing system designed for non-profit
organizations, schools, hospitals, museums and other organizations hosting fundraising
events. Through a partnership forged between MaestroSoft, Inc. and IATS, a Ticketmaster
company, charities will be able to have a very simple to use, cost effective and reliable
means of quickly processing their event revenue, year-round contributions, and on-line
payment processing through one simple system.
"The qCheck offering is going to revolutionize payment processing
in the non-profit event space," said Jay Fiske, President of MaestroSoft. "Our clients
have been asking for simplicity, security of credit card numbers, elimination of complex
training, removal of restrictions on the types of credit cards accepted, elimination of
rental charges and other surprises when dealing with getting their event revenues
processed. With the integration of the IATS system and our industry leading auction
management software, AuctionMaestro Pro, we have succeeded in meeting those objectives."
"Working with IATS has been phenomenal. They know how to get
things done, get it done right the first time, and then they are able to support their
system with a process that has been in use for many years. We merely needed to adapt and
adopt what they already had as a proven payment system," noted Kenneth Kleve, Vice
President of Operations for MaestroSoft.
The qCheck system simplifies what is traditionally a complex
process. With qCheck all 5 major credit cards are accepted not only the typical VISA
and Master Card varieties. "The best part is the client can either 'swipe' a card to
read it as they would do at an event, or just type in the card numbers as they would do
while accepting a donation or RSVP on the telephone, and still pay the same, low blended
rate. It just couldn't be simpler for our clients," added Kleve. To make it even easier,
MaestroSoft currently supplies the "swipers" as part of the service at no additional
cost.
qCheck is available immediately for all existing and new
MaestroSoft clients. Users of AuctionMaestro Pro will also benefit from having the
customer numbers generated by the IATS system automatically synchronized with the
corresponding bidder number assigned to the event guest. This allows for a speedy check
out, virtually eliminating any cashiering line at the end of an event. New service can
be established in less than a week.
